Heart & Sole is an adopted project brought to us by the 2020-2021 Provisional Class. This project seeks to ensure young children have proper fitting tennis shoes. It is often noticed by teachers and school employees, that too often small children outgrow, and wear down their shoes at an astonishing rate.

 

This project works through a nomination based process, teachers are asked to nominate anywhere from 3-6 students from their class to receive new tennis shoes. Nominations are based on in person knowledge and visual assessment of an individual child’s shoe situation.
